Download GASolver

Download the free trial to your computer

Pre-Packaged Solver Yearstretch also create specific genetic algorithm powered solutions wrapped in an end user program that can be distributed to your own clients or to staff within your own organisation.

Please note that GASolver requires your computer to run Microsoft Excel 2000 or later versions.

 
To download, install and run GASolver:

  1. You may want to print this page of instructions for use offline.

  2. Click on the download link below to download the installation package file.

Download InstallGASolver.msi 2.875 Mb

  1. Choose 'Save' if prompted and specify a folder in which to save the downloaded file.

To Install GASolver into MS-Windows:

  1. If you have a previous version installed then it is recommended that you use the Windows | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs to remove the previous version before adding the new one.

  2. Following download, click on the downloaded file InstallGASolver.msi from the folder in which you saved it to install the software.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. When installation is complete you can run the program from Start | Programs | Yearstretch GASolver | GASolver or the icon from your desktop.

  5. To view Help choose Start | Programs | Yearstretch GASolver | Help

Security notice: If your version of MS-Excel shows a message similar to this:

when you are trying to load GASolver, then you will need to change the Excel macro security settings.
